Laura Hull, Owner and Consultant

Laura is a first generation U.S. immigrant, born in Cape Town, South Africa to an Italian mother and Rhodesian father. She has more than a decade of experience as a grant writer and grant manager in nonprofit leadership and multicultural contexts. Laura delivers high quality consulting to organizations seeking to elevate their grants portfolios. Her best work is identifying unique needs and cultivating the right resources to meet them. Pairing these skills with rich research, insight, and an average 98% funding success rate, Laura offers her clients the best in grants services.

Laura has a data-driven commitment to her clients’ success. She fosters trust through active listening and creative strategy. She uncovers barriers and guides nonprofits towards reaching their funding goals. Laura prides herself on leading authentic teamwork and best practices in grants seeking, research, and management. As a coach, she promotes collaboration, provides tangible tools, and offers empowering support to grant professionals of all levels. Laura’s passion results in winning grant proposals and significant positive impacts in the diverse groups and communities her clients serve. Outside of grants, she enjoys spending quality time with her two young children, reading, creative writing, and exploring Idaho’s spectacular outdoors.

Laura began her professional life as a freelance designer and writer while attending Boise State University’s B.F.A. in Graphic Design program. Her journey branched into marketing and communications, always including writing for the greater good. Laura holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Phoenix and is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association
