2024 Premio Services Year in Review

Natalia Digiosia & Laura Hull from Premio Services.

As the first month of 2025 comes to a close (already?!), we’re reflecting on a year of growth and impact at Premio Services, including a 92% funding success rate. Here’s a look back at some key highlights:

Q1: Laying a Strong Foundation
In January, we refined our mission to emphasize how our services transform nonprofits and outlined a seasonal vision for quarterly workflows. We also celebrated a client’s salary request approval from a funder and strengthened connections with nonprofits tackling domestic violence. February brought our publication of 5 Benefits of Hiring a Grants Consultant, and a well-received grants workshop for the City of Boise’s Department of Arts and History. (Stay tuned for more on the 2025 workshop March 5th.)

Q2: Expanding Our Reach
April saw the launch of our first booth at the IHFA Conference on Housing and Economic Development, complete with chocolate coins and gold blocks that were a hit! We also submitted a major capacity-building grant and conducted funder assessments for clients. In May, we explored new networking opportunities and signed a new client. By June, our refined nonprofit sustainability plan had become a go-to resource for grant applications.

Q3: Strengthening Partnerships
In July, we revisited our seasonal vision and gained insights from the Idaho Nonprofit Center’s Compensation Report. In August we attended and hosted a booth at their annual conference and focused the month on community connections – including delivering Boise Metro Chamber thank-you packets to NPOs – refining AI-assisted practices, and planning our fall retreat. September highlights included winning a capacity-building grant for a client, transitioning to QuickBooks Online, and streamlining our consultation process.

Q4: Impact and Reflection
October brought the added joy of a local arts and culture nonprofit winning a grant Natalia wrote pro bono, and Laura’s impactful role as a panelist at Faces of Hope’s  Domestic Abuse Awareness Month event. We renewed contracts for 2025 and assessed the value of our services through a Joy/Time/Money filter. November was packed with consultations, partnership facilitation, SOP tweaks, and Thanksgiving dinners where we celebrated our gratitude for the lasting impact of grants work. We capped the year in December with a listing on sector leader Holly Rustick’s Grant Writing & Funding directory, 2025-2027 budget development for a client, and a peaceful holiday season with our loved ones.

All this while writing and winning grants for nonprofits AND leading our part time grant management roles outside PSI.

Thank you to our clients, community partners, and grantors for an incredible year!

With the new year underway, we’re excited to continue our mission of transforming nonprofits through grant knowledge and funding. Here’s to building even more impactful connections in 2025!
