With a mission to provide quality financial education to individuals and families, IFLC is dedicated to equipping Idahoans with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions. Partnering with IFLC has been a rewarding experience; they work tirelessly to create a brighter, financially literate future for communities across Idaho.

IFLC’s Vision: Building a Financially Literate Idaho
IFLC aims to foster financial literacy across the state and enable individuals and families to confidently manage their finances and plan for the future. Their programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible through three key focuses:
- Educating students in financial literacy by hosting the Idaho Piggy Bank Beauty Contest, celebrated annually and now in its 15th year. This engaging community event is celebrated with state representatives at the Capitol building in Boise.
- Educating teachers in financial literacy through scholarships to the annual Jump$tart conference, designed to equip educators with the resources and information needed to teach personal finance in schools. This service is of particular need in light of recent Idaho legislation mandating that every high school graduate complete a financial education course.
- Educating women in financial literacy via participation in the free Savvy Women and Money conference, hosted annually by the Idaho Department of Finance. As a 90% women-led organization, IFLC recognizes the key role women play in driving the economy and improving communities and thus necessity of financial literacy for women.
